The assignment was to highlight the Windows Premium Collection of devices, which includes Microsoft Surface and OEM partners. To do this, we created a series of sleek “unboxing” videos that featured each device as if it were being opened for the first time. We took the idea of an unboxing video, turned it on itself and condensed these into :20 spots. By focusing on the hardware’s industrial design, including the box, we enticed consumers, built suspense and revealed the unique qualities of each device in the Windows Premium Collection.
